Kevin Feige Talks Thanos and Infinity Wars! (Abdo elkshlan) for google.

Empire Magazine’s Chris Hewitt recently caught up with Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin
Feige for a special Captain America: Civil War spoiler edition of the film publication’s weeklyPodcast, and in discussing the end of the movie, Feige delved into detail on the future of the Avengers in the MCU. Speaking about the decision to end Civil War on a rather depressing tone, with the differences between the Avengers not resolved, and the team broken apart,Feige had the following to say:
“Knowing where we were heading, we knew that we had a guy called Thanos, who gets a glove and gets a bunch of jewels and does a bunch of evil things with that glove (chuckles)that wouldn’t it be interesting that on the eve of encountering their biggest opponent, and the biggest challenge they’ve ever gone up against, they were completely fractured, that they were completely disassembled.”
This quote raises the question of when Thanos will in fact be placed as the villain, front and center of the MCU, and when he will manage to acquire all six Infinity Stones (or gems for comic book purists) to bring his Infinity Gauntlet to its full complement. Feige seems to imply that the next time all our heroes will be required to unite again, will be in opposition to Thanos, which must therefore mean he will be heavily featured in the first of the Infinity Wartwo-parter, as opposed to him still sitting in the shadows and relying on his puppets to do the work for him. Of course, this didn’t work with Loki and the Chitauri army in Avengers Assemble, and didn’t work in the case of Ronan The Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy, so perhaps Thanos foreboding statement in the mid-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron, “I’ll do it myself!” will play out in Part 1 and not be kept for Part 2.
